Arts Bonita is seeking passionate, energetic, and engaging Dance Instructors to join our growing Education Department. We are expanding our dance programming and are looking for talented educators who are excited to teach students of all ages while helping us build one of Southwest Florida's premier community arts education programs.
This is an outstanding opportunity for instructors who enjoy a variety of teaching experiences—from children's summer camps and after-school programs to adult classes and educational outreach in local schools.
Immediate teaching opportunities are available for Summer Camp, with additional Fall classes and year-round programming beginning soon.
What You'll Do
As a Dance Instructor, you may have the opportunity to:
- Teach engaging dance classes for children, teens, and adults
- Lead specialty workshops and master classes
- Teach in Arts Bonita's Summer Camp programs
- Participate in educational outreach programs in local schools
- Develop and introduce new classes based on your expertise
- Choreograph student performances and showcases when appropriate
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
- Inspire students of all skill levels while promoting creativity, confidence, and artistic growth
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and Arts Bonita staff to expand and strengthen our dance offerings
We Are Looking For Instructors In
Arts Bonita welcomes instructors with experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
- Ballet
- Tap
- Jazz
- Contemporary
- Modern
- Hip-Hop
- Musical Theatre
- Creative Movement
- Ballroom
- Latin Dance
- Cultural Dance
- Adult Fitness Dance
- Other specialty dance styles
Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience required
- Professional dance training and/or performance experience
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
- Passion for arts education and community engagement
- Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic
- Background screening may be required for instructors working with youth

About Arts Bonita
Arts Bonita is committed to enriching the lives of the community by providing opportunities for artistic expression, education, and appreciation. Arts Bonita has two campus locations-each dedicated to the visual or performing arts.
The Visual Arts Center, 26100 Old 41 Road, is comprised of multiple fine art galleries and fully equipped art studios, a gift store, and beautiful sculpture gardens. A variety of classes are offered at this center, including painting, drawing, pottery, and sculpture.
The Performing Arts Center, 10150 Bonita Beach Road, is home to the 400-seat Hinman Auditorium and the 200-seat Moe Auditorium & Film Center. At this diverse center, patrons can enjoy an ongoing array of live music, theatre, comedy, film, lectures, and youth & adult classes in art, music, theatre, and dance.
