Basic Objectives: This is a professional position responsible for the instruction of dance to middle school and senior high school students through the teaching of techniques and skills in dance (e.g., ballet, modern, jazz, ethnic, tap or theater), choreography/performance, and the history of dance.
Job Tasks/Responsibilities:
Physical Requirements: This is heavy work which requires the following physical activities: climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. The worker is exposed to noise and the work is performed primarily indoors.
