Full Time Sales Consultants

Baer's Furniture, Florida's premier furniture and mattress retailer, is searching for Sales Consultants. Our Sales Consultants set Baer's Furniture apart from other furniture retailers by creating a stellar shopping experience that encompasses full home design solutions. The perfect candidate is a creative professional that will help our guests incorporate fashionable design elements, turning their house into the home of their dreams. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the desire and ability to assist guest in making the finest furniture choices for their home and enjoy working in a high-end, active environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and welcome customers, creating an instant rapport to discover their home design wishes;
• Effectively present relevant products throughout our showroom, while perceptively suggesting alternative and/or additional home interior solutions;
• Effectively communicate with guest, displaying strong product knowledge and solid communication skills with the ability to listen and recognize needs;
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills;
• Create sales through confident, well-informed, interactions with guest.

Schedule:

• Our hours of operation are Monday - Saturday (9:30 - 6) and Sunday (11:00 - 6). You will be required to work a full-time schedule that includes Saturday and Sunday and three additional days during the week.

Required Qualifications:

• Highly motivated sales professional with exemplary interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to build a strong rapport with customers;
• Team player, with a competitive, goal-oriented spirit;
• Computer literate, able grasp new programs with training;
• Experience in retail commission-based sales environment is a plus, but not required.
