They do not constitute an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities performed on the job. The following frequencies and percentage of time spent are approximations only and are subject to flexibility dependent on organizational needs.Interpret consecutively or simultaneously for parents during, but not limited, to parent/teacher conferences, IEP meetings, expulsion hearings and student disciplinary hearings, admissions process, and at school and district meetings as needed. [Daily, 30%]Provide information about school and community resources & services to families. [Daily, 25%]Facilitate communication and understanding between families, school, and community while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. [Daily, 15%]Act as a cultural link between parents, students, school, staff, and community and work with staff to facilitate social and cultural adjustment in school. [Daily, 15%]Collaborate and coordinate resources with school parent liaisons, other parent partnership groups in the schools, district, and in the community to assist [language] families and students.
