Data Analysis Intern

GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION: The Data Analysis Intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in data analysis and data governance within a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. Working alongside the Business Intelligence team, the intern will support reports and dashboards, respond to support requests, contribute to analytics projects, and assist with yearly reporting initiatives. This role provides exposure to SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, modern data management practices, and the college''s Institutional Review Board. Additionally, this role will have an opportunity to network within the local Indianapolis campus. This is a hybrid position, with in-office expectations on Tuesdays. Some flexibility for remote work is available. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Interpret data findings and present insights in a clear and concise manner through visualizations and reports using Tableau. Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to clean and process large datasets within the college's Snowflake data warehouse using SQL, supporting data-informed decision making. Enhance data governance, including the data catalog and lineage, by collaborating with business stakeholders. Participate in the IRB process, including learning about research ethics. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Business Intelligence Analyst SUPERVISION GIVEN: None HOURLY RATE: $15 per hour EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Actively pursuing a college credential, preferably in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Development, or comparable Information Technology program. DURATION OF INTERNSHIP: This internship can continue until the student's graduation, depending on performance and availability. May work a maximum of 28 hours per week.
