The Data Analyst will work as a member of the Clinical Economics team within Mercy’s Department of Finance. The selected candidate will identify, collect, and synthesize data from various hospital platforms to promote and ensure efficiency in the hospital’s revenue cycle (i.e. processes beginning from the patient registration to the collections from insurance payers). In addition, the Data Analyst will provide analytical support to develop and track new initiatives with respect to clinical care and the improvement of both patient health and financial outcomes. To meet various federal, state, and industry requirements, the Data Analyst will assist in the preparation of reports intersecting the areas of clinical care, population health, pharmacy, and clinical economics/finance.
