Job Title: Data Analyst
Location(s): Cary, NC
Position Summary
This is an Experienced Professional-level Data Analyst / Business Data Analyst position focused on turning operational and business data into actionable insights.
Core Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, consolidate, and interpret business and operational data using statistical and data analytics techniques.
- Collect data from primary and secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Operate, optimize, and support existing data-management tools, applications, and databases.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs for management and other stakeholders.
- Identify trends, patterns, performance issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support business projects by solving non-routine analytical and technical problems.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of analytical methods, business processes, tools, and technical solutions.
- Provide functional guidance to operational or less-experienced team members when required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree with applicable knowledge.
- Strong foundation in data analytics, statistics, databases, or a related technical/business discipline.
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects and deliver against defined milestones.
- Good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Experience working with databases, data-management systems, reporting tools, or analytical applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
