Our client is a leading natural gas company seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in using data to support business and operational decisions across the energy industry.

The Data Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, visualize, and report on business and operational data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tableau and be comfortable turning data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
\n
\n
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
\n
Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for business and operational teams.
\n
Create data visualizations that clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
\n
Assist with data collection, cleaning, validation, and quality assurance.
\n
Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for management and internal stakeholders.
\n
Work with business teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
\n
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and help identify trends or anomalies.
\n
Collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and other departments on data-related projects.
\n
Document reporting processes, data sources, and analytical methodologies.
\n
Support continuous improvements to reporting and analytics processes.
\n

Minimum Qualifications
\n
\n
Hands-on experience with Tableau is required, including creating dashboards, visualizations, filters, and calculated fields.
\n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
\n
Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
\n
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
\n
Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
\n
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
\n
