Job Title: Data Analyst (Data Integration & Mapping) Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our data consolidation initiatives. In this role, your primary focus will be mapping and analyzing complex data from disparate systems to build a reliable "single source of truth. " You will bridge the gap between raw data and business intelligence by ensuring our data architecture is clean, consolidated, and perfectly structured for downstream visualization in Tableau. Duties & Responsibilities Data Consolidation & Mapping: Extract, analyze, and consolidate data sets from multiple disparate sources (e.g., CRMs, ERPs, flat files) into a unified, centralized data repository. Single Source of Truth Management: Design and document complex data mapping rules and transformations to establish definitive, standardized definitions for cross-functional business metrics. Dashboard & Report Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and automated reports that translate consolidated data into actionable insights for business stakeholders. Create reports in systems like Gainsight, Clarizen, and Salesforce. KPI Tracking & Analytics: Collaborate with leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and build intuitive reporting structures that monitor business health, trends, and performance. Quality Assurance & Data Cleansing: Perform rigorous data profiling and validation to identify inconsistencies, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data integrity flows seamlessly from the backend systems to the front-end reports. Required Skills Data Visualization & Reporting: Hands-on experience building complex, interactive dashboards in Tableau (or similar BI tools) and translating business requirements into compelling visual data narratives is required. Data Mapping & Integration: Deep expertise in master data management (MDM), data mapping, and ETL/ELT concepts is required. Advanced SQL: High proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract, join, and manipulate large datasets across various relational databases is required. Dashboard UI/UX Design: Strong understanding of dashboard design principles and best practices, focusing on end-user experience, optimal chart selection, and minimizing cognitive load is also needed. Analytical Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to untangle messy data structures, spot logical conflicts between systems, and formulate standardized business rules for accurate reporting. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data trends and architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Education & Experience Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required. Professional Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience in data analysis, data mapping, and hands-on BI reporting/dashboarding is required. Project Experience: Proven track record of successfully contributing to data consolidation or "single source of truth " initiatives, followed by deploying dashboards on top of those datasets. Systems Knowledge: Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS) and standard enterprise software databases (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight, Clarizen).
