The Data Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development of training plans and providing instructional training for the United States Army Reserve Command using the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), Army Vantage, and other Army Logistics Programs. The Maintenance Data Analyst is responsible for assisting in the collecting Army Reserve Field Maintenance Program statistics.


Responsibilities


+ Provide support to the Maintenance Chief on the Command Maintenance Discipline Program (CMDP)

+ This includes pulling all background data and information from sources of record in preparation for the government inspection.

+ Data analysts will conduct over the shoulder training using logistics information systems and Microsoft Office products.

+ Monitor and review the performance and quality of GCSS-Army training plans to identify improvements.

+ Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.

+ Utilize and scrub databases, data collection systems, data analytic, and implement strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and assist with maintaining databases/data system.

+ Monthly, spot check the Army Reserve G4 Readiness Divisions (RDs) and Geographical and Functional Commands (GFC) will be annotated and then added to the weekly report for completion.

+ Assist in providing training to AR units during the Maintenance Managers Course (MM301), including keeping lessons up to date, all class preparation and closeout requirement.

+ Data Cleansing and instructional training for the RDs and GFCs.

+ Extract and assist in analyzing the information for the Logistics Readiness Review (LRR), and Reserve Component Readiness Review (RCRR).

+ Provide real time data to the Crisis Action Team (CAT).


Qualifications


+ Minimum of 4 years' experience in GCSS-Army, AESIP, specifically in relation to fleet readiness and maintenance operations.

+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in providing training and instruction to small groups, including development of training materials.

+ Secret Clearance.
