Our Client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Data Analyst I for their New York, NY / Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support requests related to currency comparisons & conversions which are needed to facilitate the '26-27 upfront negotiations.
  • Tracking of DDL and alternative currency campaigns with providers to ensure proper billing.
  • Pacing, post campaign wrap reports, and revenue recognition by compiling metadata and materials required for final campaign reporting.
  • Additionally, the role will fulfill other required tasks (updating of methodology materials for sales, viewing analyses based on all currency vendors that Client works with, etc.).
  • Additional responsibilities to be assigned by Management.
 
Requirements:
  • Audience measurement
  • 1+ years; Familiarity with the major linear and digital TV measurement reporting services (e.g. Comscore, iSpot.tv, Nielsen and VideoAmp)
  • Experience within Media and Entertainment.
  • 1+ years; Familiarity with the major ‘players’, metrics, process, sales, etc. of the Media and Entertainment Industry.
  • Excel experience.
  • 1+ years; Ability to find stories within data.
  • Ability to leverage Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) to share data with stakeholders.
  • Nice To Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
  • Experience and familiarity with programming languages (SQL, Python, R) that can be used to conduct data analyses is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • SQL and Python experience (not required).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Ability to manage and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex business environment and can manage time effectively to consistently meet deadlines
  • Media and Entertainment Experience.
  • Technology Requirements:
  • Familiarity with the major linear and digital TV measurement reporting services (e.g. Comscore, iSpot.tv, Nielsen and VideoAmp)
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge using Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint (experience using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros is necessary).
