Data Analyst I

Our client, a Waste Disposal company, is looking for a Data Analyst I for their Phoenix AZ/ Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Identify trends, recurring issues, and process improvement opportunities
• Investigate root causes and implement sustainable solutions
• Analyze data from daily reports on closed tickets and workflows to improve operational efficiency
• Research and resolve complex or unfamiliar issues
• Document findings, recommendations, and process changes
• Collaborate with business partners to streamline and simplify work
• Identifies patterns and trends
• Asks questions and challenges inefficient processes
• Takes ownership and follows issues through resolution
• Continuously looks for ways to improve the business
• Demonstrates accountability, curiosity, and initiative
• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating problems, improving processes, and creating lasting operational improvements rather than simply completing tasks.

• We are seeking a curious, analytical, and proactive problem solver to help drive process improvement and operational efficiency across our organization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with process improvement or operational support
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Self-motivated, curious, and adaptable
• Ability to work independently and through ambiguity
• SQL experience preferred, but not required
• We're less interested in what's on a résumé and more interested in how a candidate thinks.
