Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Business / Data Analyst to support our Data Warehouse team in Reston, VA. This hybrid role requires local presence with the ability to report onsite as needed. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, deep data lineage knowledge, and the ability to independently troubleshoot production data issues. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to maintain data accuracy and drive high-quality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze STTMs and production data failures to identify root causes
Read Informatica code to trace and diagnose data issues
Propose and implement SQL-based data correction solutions
Collaborate with development teams to deliver fixes to production
Verify and certify data changes post-implementation
Translate business needs into data and technical requirements
Document and communicate findings, requirements, and solutions clearly
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and documentation in JIRA/Confluence
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in business and data analysis
Advanced SQL skills (Oracle preferred); experience with Toad
Strong knowledge of data warehousing and data mart principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Experience:
Background in Multifamily or Single-Family mortgage data
Familiarity with data lineage and source-to-target mapping
