About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst III to join our Investment Client Services team in a hybrid role based out of our Franklin, WI campus. In this role, you will turn data into meaningful insights that help leaders make informed business decisions. You will analyze trends, build reports and dashboards, develop forecasts, and translate complex data into clear recommendations that support business priorities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems through data, telling a story through analysis, and partnering with business stakeholders to improve processes, identify opportunities, and drive measurable outcomes.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, insights, and opportunities that support business decision-making.

  • Create forecasts, reports, dashboards, and other analytical deliverables that help tell a clear story through data.

  • Translate complex data and detailed analysis into business-friendly insights, recommendations, presentations, and written summaries.

  • Produce actionable reports that highlight key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and support root-cause analysis.

  • Partner with department leaders and business stakeholders to understand business questions, gather requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations.

  • Use analytics and metrics to improve processes, evaluate business impact, and support forecasting related to costs, risks, operational performance, and business outcomes.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business area you support and begin building deeper expertise in one or more business domains.

  • Apply data visualization best practices to create clear, effective, and user-friendly deliverables.

  • Seek to understand business processes, user needs, and operational workflows; document refined processes when needed.

  • Identify and capture business requirements and support the development of KPI frameworks.

  • Take initiative to design and develop analytical deliverables based on business needs, findings, and stakeholder priorities.

  • Provide consultation to business partners and participate in cross-functional efforts to address business issues.

  • Share results, insights, and best practices across teams to support continuous improvement and strengthen analytical capabilities.

  • Apply creative problem-solving, curiosity, and new perspectives to improve how data is used to support business decisions.

  • Embrace continuous learning, ambiguity, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, analytics, or application development.

  • Experience with one or more analytical or development tools such as SQL, SAS, Microsoft Excel, SPSS, or similar tools.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Ability to deliver insights and recommendations clearly through written summaries, verbal communication, and presentations.

  • Strong problem-solving, research, quantitative analysis, and analytical thinking skills.

  • Ability to gather information systematically, consider a broad range of factors, and apply sound logic in analysis.

  • Strong aptitude and desire to learn new platforms, analytical tools, reporting tools, and presentation methods.

  • Ability to independently design and develop deliverables while collaborating effectively with a team.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent assignments while navigating ambiguity.

  • Creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving and developing practical, data-backed solutions.

Skills You Have

  • SQL, Tableau or Power BI - Applies data visualization functionality in Tableau or Power BI to display data in a clear, consumable format.

  • Root Cause Analysis & Decision Quality (NM) - Assists with and applies problem-solving methods to understand the fundamental reasons for faults and problems; makes timely, data-driven decisions by understanding the probability of success, identifying customer risks, gathering business requirements, and developing value statements.

  • Storytelling Through Data - Communicates insights and opportunities from datasets using narratives, visualizations, and analysis.

  • Consulting - Connects with stakeholders to understand and gather specific information that helps resolve customer problems within a given domain. Communicates intent effectively, solicits customer requirements, applies domain knowledge, and collaborates with the right stakeholders.

  • Adaptive Communication - Formulates strategies to convey complex information about services, products, systems, or processes to targeted audiences; communicates and liaises between technical and non-technical audiences.

Structure 115:

$93,440.00 USD - $140,160.00 USD
