Data Analyst IV

Our Client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Data Analyst IV for their Burbank, CA/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
• Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
• Will need to understand the current landscape – interviewing teams to get understanding
• More autonomous 70/30 – they need to recreate the documents on how things were currently and then implement new ways
• Key projects:
• Consumer product systems support – modernizing the contract management system.
• They will be analyzing data that’s integrated in sub systems and redesign how it can be used in new systems.
• Purpose of this team:
• Handle contract management and analytic system WB games data.
• Value Proposition:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Knowledge of the ETL process.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated history of success.
• Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions.
• 10+ years of experience
• 6-10+ years of experience
• Technology requirements:
• SQL server
• How integrations work (how data is integrated through ETL and API)
• Degree or certifications required:
• Bachelors required in CS or Engineering
• Data certifications are nice to have
• Years experience:
• 10 years minimum – to understand the analysis
• Required background/ Skillsets:
• Any industry is fine as long as the data experience is there
• Focused on integrations, need data mapping experience –
• Data architect experience
• Skill:  proficient in data base tech
• Application: snowflake, SQL server
• Skill:  understanding of integration technologies
• Skill:  understanding of analytical environment
