Pay Rate: $85–$90/hour


Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst IV to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives for a large public utility organization. This role will be responsible for developing and launching Power BI dashboards, creating recurring and ad hoc reports, analyzing data from multiple sources, and improving reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will have advanced Power BI experience with a demonstrated background taking dashboards from initial requirements through development, validation, launch, and ongoing reporting. Strong Excel and Smartsheet skills are also important for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, launch, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into dashboards, metrics, and actionable reporting.
• Collect, analyze, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources.
• Create and publish recurring and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and reporting processes.
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting or data discrepancies.
• Utilize Excel for advanced data analysis, reporting, and data manipulation.
• Use Smartsheet to support tracking, reporting, and business processes.
• Respond to data and reporting requests from various business groups.
• Document reporting requirements, processes, data definitions, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced experience developing and launching Power BI dashboards.
• Strong background in data analysis, visualization, and business reporting.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Smartsheet.
• Experience working with SQL, relational databases, and query tools.
• Strong understanding of data validation and reporting accuracy.
