Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable business intelligence. In this role, you will analyze multifaceted datasets, build intuitive reporting dashboards, and partner with cross-functional teams to identify key trends and drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical capabilities in SQL, Excel, and BI platforms with the communication skills needed to translate technical findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Modeling & Analysis: Clean, extract, and analyze large datasets using SQL and advanced Excel to uncover patterns, anomalies, and operational efficiencies.
- BI Dashboard Development: Design, deploy, and maintain interactive visual reports and automated dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Power Pivot.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Present data-driven insights and concise strategic recommendations clearly across all organizational levels, bridging technical and non-technical teams.
- Web & Platform Analytics: Integrate and evaluate tracking metrics using Adobe Analytics and Microsoft 365 applications to assess performance and engagement trends.
- Process Optimization & Integrity: Establish rigorous data validation standards, automate recurring reporting workflows, and proactively resolve data discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
- Analytics Experience: Professional experience in a data analytics role with a proven track record of synthesizing raw data into business solutions.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency with SQL, advanced Microsoft Excel (including Power Pivot and complex formulas), and modern BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Software Tools: Working proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and Adobe Analytics.
- Organizational Awareness: Foundational understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) concepts and best practices in data integrity and ethical reporting.
- Communication: Proven ability to present structured, clear recommendations and insights to management, technical teams, and executive staff.
- Mindset & Execution: Uncompromisingly high standards for accuracy, exceptional emotional intelligence, a strong bias towards action, and demonstrated comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of formal education and practical work experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience within technology, fintech, or financial services.
- Experience integrating disparate data pipelines into unified reporting structures.
