About Us
Anthos|Home is a nonprofit startup focused on creating a new way home for New Yorkers with housing vouchers. We streamline the apartment search, approval, and move-in process using technology to move people into stable housing faster. We believe every person deserves a place to blossom, and we're building the tools, systems, and teams to make that possible.
Our Culture
At Anthos|Home, urgency drives our work because every day in shelter matters. We are focused on helping people move into stable housing as quickly as possible and continuously improving how we get there.
We are looking for team members who are highly data-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable learning new systems. Strong candidates value accuracy, use data to inform decisions, and actively improve how information is tracked and shared.
We value people who are thoughtful, adaptable, and detail-oriented, and who follow through, communicate openly, and take ownership of their work. How effectively we use data and technology directly impacts how quickly people get home.
The Role
We are seeking a mission-driven Data Analyst to own and advance data initiatives across the organization. You'll join a small, collaborative Data & Evaluation team, two fellow analysts and a Director, with regular check-ins and a high degree of independence over your day-to-day work.
You'll work cross-functionally with all departments to develop solutions within our Salesforce org that meet their needs. This is a strategic and technical role requiring strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and an orientation toward process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Solutions & Automation
- Partner with program teams to understand their needs and translate them into practical Salesforce solutions, including analyzing current workflows to identify gaps, configuring custom fields and forms, and designing no-code automated workflows (for example, building a flow that auto-assigns follow-up tasks to staff based on outstanding documentation)
Data Quality & Training
- Monitor and improve data quality across the org, including equipping teams with the training and tools they need to enter data correctly
- Support staff trainings on new processes and onboard new team members
Analysis & Documentation
- Analyze program data to identify trends and areas for process improvement, synthesizing findings into clear, audience-appropriate formats, whether a Salesforce dashboard or a one-pager for leadership
- Create and maintain documentation on existing data infrastructure, processes, and best practices
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a comparable technical setting
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and manipulation
- Comfort with tech tools and a resourceful, self-directed approach to learning - if you haven't worked in Salesforce before, you're confident you can learn it quickly
- Excellent communication skills, particularly with non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and critical thinking skills
- Previous startup experience a plus
Required Skills & Attributes
- Eagerness to fully understand how the distinct processes within each team contribute to the organization's goals, and the opportunity for data and technology to improve them
- Creativity in determining which mix of tools to use for the most robust automation and data solutions
- Excitement to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and take high ownership over your work
- Comfort in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly and you may be supporting multiple teams at once
- Genuine passion for the mission and enthusiasm for working in a diverse environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $70,000 – $75,000/ year, commensurate on experience
- Hybrid work environment (2–5 days in office/field per week)
- Comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with 4% employer match
- Generous paid time off
- Summer Fridays in August
- Professional development opportunities
- Current wellness perks, including weekly meditation classes and ClassPass
