Careerscape is actively recruiting a remote Data Analyst on behalf of one of our client partners. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team where you'll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends
  • Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources
  • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business questions into analytical frameworks
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support data quality initiatives and help maintain data documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R preferred)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and A/B testing is a plus
