The Data Governance Analyst supports the Office of Data Management by running day-to-day governance operations for .
The role administers formal processes (data requests, access, critical data issues, reporting and calendar changes), maintains decision/issue logs and documentation, and ensures compliance with FERPA/PPRA/COPPA and State OIT security policies.
The analyst facilitates Data Stewards and DMC meetings(agendas, quorum, voting, minutes), coordinates with program offices, IT, vendors, and districts, and partners with OCM on training and communications.
The role monitors governance KPIs (issue resolution, modification outcomes, participation) and recommends improvements that enhance data quality, transparency, and timely statewide reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Run governance workflows; track and resolve critical data issues and change requests

Facilitate Data Stewards/DMC: agendas, minutes, votes, follow-ups
Validate policy and compliance alignment; coordinate with Legal/OIT security
