Job Description
The Data Analyst I – GCIR Reporting Specialist supports reporting and data operations by coordinating updates to enterprise databases, validating data, and supporting reporting processes. While titled as a Data Analyst, this role is more data entry and reporting–focused than advanced analytics and does not require prior coding experience.
This position works closely with senior management, technical teams, and business partners to ensure data accuracy, documentation quality, and reliable reporting outputs in a structured enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Reporting Support
Coordinate updates and changes to enterprise databases
Validate, test, and implement database updates and reporting changes
Support data entry, reporting preparation, and documentation activities
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Database & Process Support
Assist with logical and physical database documentation
Support ETL-related processes and data flows (no coding required)
Modify existing database records and reporting outputs as directed
Test databases and reports, identify errors, and support corrections
Communication & Collaboration
Work with senior management, technical teams, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
Communicate findings and updates clearly through PowerPoint presentations and Excel-based reports
Apply structured troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques
Required Skills & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
0–2 years of applicable professional experience
Experience or exposure to database technologies
Knowledge of ETL processes (conceptual understanding acceptable)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Preferred:
Prior experience in reporting, data operations, or administrative data roles
Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments
