Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytic reports, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks
  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets
  • Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
  • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
  • Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
 
Skills and Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics
  • 5-7 years’ experience mining data as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
  • Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
  • Strong Google Big query, SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools
  • 5+ years’ experience using reporting tools such as Tableau.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Working experience with transactional data sets
  • Previous experience in ecommerce analytics or similar function with heavy focus on data analysis
  • Must have executive level power point creation experience

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $76.00 - $76.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match,  life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Sick leave and mobile phone reimbursement provided based on state or local law.
