Job Title: Data Analyst
Work Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 8 month contract with option to extend 
Education/Experience Required: Associate degree, technical or trade certificate, or high school diploma with 0-2 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality of building system data entering our management platform by verifying submitted points from project teams or contractors.
• Monitor live data to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the Energy Smart Buildings team, reporting to the Technical Manager and working alongside senior integrators.
• Participate in the validation and verification process, including shadowing the FSBR team during onboarding.
• Document and track data discrepancies, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
• Support colleagues in locating and interpreting data, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate degree, technical or trade certificate, or high school diploma with 0-2 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform consistent and accurate checks.
• Proficiency in Excel, including the use of lookups, filters, and pivot tables.
• Effective written communication skills to address and resolve submission issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
• Sound judgment in evaluating information from multiple sources.

Preferred:

• Experience or exposure to building management, automation, or analytics platforms.
• Understanding of point naming and tagging conventions, or any structured data standard.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with building system protocols such as BACnet or Modbus.
• Experience in data quality, quality assurance, or auditing roles.
• Exposure to SQL or scripting for data manipulation.
