Job Description

Our Client, a Financial company, is looking for a Data Analyst for their Richmond, VA/ McLean, VA location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Strong focus on SQL and Python, with SQL being the highest priority.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
  • Build/support Python-based automation and data processing.
  • Support data validation, quality checks, troubleshooting, migration, and modernization initiatives.
  • Work with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate findings.
 
Requirements:
  • Prior client Experience: Preferred
  • Top Skills – Must Have: SQL, Python
  • Additional Technical Skills: Snowflake, AWS
  • Preferred Skills: Spark/PySpark, Databricks, Tableau, data migration experience; client EMP and On Stream Data
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication/presentation skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, comfortable with changing priorities
  • Data Analyst supporting new work for Mahesh’s team.
  • Technical environment includes SQL, Python, Snowflake, and AWS, with Spark/PySpark, Databricks, and Tableau preferred
