Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior EHS Applications and Data Analyst to support global EHS applications. This is a back-end application support and data analysis role focused on troubleshooting data quality issues, supporting enterprise applications, investigating production incidents, managing integrations, supporting environmental reporting systems, and resolving complex production issues. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Sphera EHS applications, have strong SQL skills, and the ability to trace issues across users, systems, APIs, integrations, and databases.
Key Responsibilities
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in a back-end systems/application analyst role. This includes enterprise application support, production support, data quality analysis, and root cause investigation.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Sphera Environmental Accounting (EA) and Compliance Assurance (CA).
- Support environmental reporting applications and integrations.
- Investigate data quality and production support issues.
- Utilize SQL to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data issues.
- Trace issues reported by users through systems, integrations, APIs, and databases.
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate permanent fixes.
- Support APIs, data integrations, and source-to-target mappings.
- Manage work through Jira and ServiceNow.
- Coordinate with business users, developers, vendors, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Support environmental and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain support documentation, runbooks, and technical knowledge articles.
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in a back-end systems/application analyst role. This includes enterprise application support, production support, data quality analysis, and root cause investigation.
Technical Skills:
- Sphera EA/CA experience is a top priority.
- Advanced SQL skills (stored procedures, views, T-SQL, data investigations).
- Experience with EHS systems/applications.
- Experience with API and integration troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Jira, Agile/Scrum, and ServiceNow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Sphera API.
- Knowledge of ECOS, SAP Environmental Compliance, or Element LIMS.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Familiarity with C#/.NET.
- Portuguese language skills.
- Experience in a regulated industry such as environmental, manufacturing, utilities, or compliance
