Overview:

A Transportation Data Analyst – I is both a thinker and a doer who doesn’t hesitate to roll up their sleeves and dig into the numbers, while also being able to train and develop our NFI locations to be able to do the same. In this role, you will analyze data and create visuals and reports with a “can do” approach. The Analyst role will help to understand larger operational concepts to help build them to life within visualization projects. On top of that, you are responsible for identifying and extracting KPIs, risk and compliance data, and converting it into easy-to-digest formats, while also being able to make sure users in the field can understand and utilize these datapoints to help the business grow. This position reports to a senior analyst level role.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate visuals in reports using PowerBI and other Microsoft products to help our operators out in the field run their business better
  • Ability to train and develop our internal operations teams on our reporting structure, including creating SOPs, best practices, and process improvement plans for our operations teams
  • The role will work with other data analysts to better understand datapoints from across the company to create new visuals for our ops teams to better run their business
  • Generate and analyze data reports from internal and external sources
  • Develop a process and associated plan for the maintenance of existing reports, trackers, and documents for the creation, incorporation and maintenance of new reports
  • Generate SOP documents for our existing reporting structure
  • Continually work towards strengthening industry knowledge and all relevant applications
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues as well as our operations teams across the country
  • Exhibit a very organized approached and superior attention to details
  • Able to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Computer Science, MIS, business or other related field
  • Excellent computer skills in Office applications. (Microsoft preferred) required
  • Proficient in PowerBI, Tableau, Minitab, or other related tool (PowerBI preferred)
  • 0-3 Years of experience in a supply chain field or equivalent
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply business statistics in problem solving (descriptive statistics, probability, frequency distribution, time-series forecasting, correlation & regression models)
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes and tools quickly and thoroughly
  • Demonstrate a high degree of productivity while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work seamlessly as part of a team, demonstrate a strong team commitment
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and research skills a must
  • Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it
  • Travel expectations up to 25%
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $59,722.26 - $79,629.68. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
