Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to provide technical data analysis, automation, data profiling, and request fulfillment within an enterprise digital infrastructure environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL and Python, along with experience working in AWS cloud data environments. This role will involve analyzing complex data requests, developing automation scripts, reviewing and optimizing existing code, identifying and resolving data discrepancies, and supporting ongoing data modernization initiatives.
Only qualified candidates currently located in the Trenton, NJ area will be considered due to the onsite nature of the position.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience with Snowflake SQL, including scripting, debugging, and query optimization.
- 3+ years of Python programming experience focused on data analysis and automation.
- 3+ years of experience reviewing and interpreting existing Python and SQL codebases.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and data profiling.
- 3+ years of experience developing automated scripts for recurring ticket/support resolution.
- 3+ years of experience working with complex data requests and resolving data discrepancies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud data warehouse/data environments.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data ecosystems.
- Experience supporting data modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, fulfill, and troubleshoot complex enterprise data requests.
- Develop, debug, and optimize complex Snowflake SQL scripts for ad-hoc data requests and enterprise data analysis.
- Perform detailed data profiling, validation, and reconciliation to identify and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies.
- Review and interpret existing Python and SQL code to troubleshoot issues, understand existing business logic, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deploy Python-based automation scripts to streamline recurring support and ticket-resolution activities and reduce manual intervention.
- Ensure new automation scripts and enhancements are consistent with established application and data-processing logic.
- Perform data operations and validation within Snowflake and AWS environments.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for complex data-related inquiries and requests.
- Translate business and data requirements into accurate technical solutions and deliverables.
- Document analysis, findings, scripts, and processes as required.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to support data modernization and operational initiatives.
