About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Analytics Contractor to join a leading automotive company. In this role, you will contribute to analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, developing data models and dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize data findings.
• Utilize statistical and analytical tools to perform data analysis and generate insights.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks.
• Work as a Data Steward with the Data Owners from the GM team, focusing on data quality rules, data management, end-to-end data lifecycle, and governance.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in statistical and analytical tools.
• Experience in developing and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports.
• Must be able to work on-site at the GM Detroit office at least two days a week, preferably three.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Databricks and SQL.
