Data Analytics Engineer

Overview / Summary

We are seeking a data analytics professional to support ADAS feature analysis by transforming large-scale vehicle and testing data into actionable insights. This role focuses on data engineering, analytics, visualization, and cross-functional collaboration within a cloud-based big data environment. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, experience with BigQuery and modern data transformation tools, and the ability to communicate complex findings through data storytelling and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data transformation workflows using SQL and Dataform or similar tools within the GCP/BigQuery ecosystem
  • Build and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets
  • Analyze ADAS performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
  • Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Translate technical data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Support data quality, validation, and testing processes to ensure accurate reporting
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver analytics solutions
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools to support code generation, SQL debugging, and documentation
  • Contribute to rapid prototyping of data models and reporting solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 1 year of Data Analytics experience
  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex queries, window functions, CTEs, and nested data structures
  • Experience with Google BigQuery and large-scale data processing
  • Understanding of query performance optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with modern data warehouse design patterns and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Dataform or dbt
  • Experience with Python, including Pandas and NumPy
  • Experience with data analytics dashboards, business intelligence, data governance, and testing
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot
