+ Shift/Hours: Mon – Fri 8:00am – 5:00pm


Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced In Stock Analyst to support inventory performance, supplier monitoring, and in-stock optimization initiatives. This role is highly analytical and focused on monitoring product availability, identifying inventory risks, conducting root cause analysis, and providing actionable insights to improve supplier performance and overall in-stock metrics.


The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful business recommendations. This position partners closely with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Direct Sourcing, and supplier teams to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.


Responsibilities:


In Stock Monitoring & Analysis


+ Monitor key inventory and supply chain metrics, including:

+ Out-of-Stock (OOS)

+ Oversold (OvS)

+ Fill Rate

+ Supplier Performance KPIs

+ Analyze inventory trends and identify risks impacting product availability.

+ Conduct detailed root cause analyses to determine drivers of in-stock gaps, including:

+ Forecasting inaccuracies

+ Supplier capacity constraints

+ Inventory flow issues

+ Logistics and transportation challenges

+ Identify and communicate emerging risks, trends, and exceptions to management.


Reporting & Dashboard Management


+ Develop, maintain, and analyze reports, dashboards, and scorecards.

+ Consolidate and validate data from multiple systems and sources.

+ Support weekly supplier and inventory performance reviews through accurate reporting.

+ Present findings, trends, and recommendations to business stakeholders.


Supplier Performance & Recovery Tracking


+ Monitor supplier commitments and recovery timelines.

+ Evaluate supplier performance against established KPIs and service level expectations.

+ Partner with sourcing and supplier management teams to identify opportunities for performance improvement.

+ Support escalation processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.


Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement


+ Translate business questions into analytical requirements.

+ Analyze operational and cost-related data to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities.

+ Build and maintain analytical models to support business decisions.

+ Track key performance metrics and measure outcomes over time.

+ Support strategic initiatives through data analysis and business case development.


Cross-Functional Collaboration


+ Partner with Demand Planning, Direct Sourcing, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and PLM teams to validate data and resolve inventory issues.

+ Ensure item-level accuracy, including coding, setup, and status changes that impact reporting and inventory visibility.

+ Contribute to process improvement initiatives and reporting best practices.


Requirements:


+ Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, inventory analysis, supply chain analytics, business analysis, or related field.

+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related discipline OR equivalent experience .

+ Candidates with substantial relevant experience (e.g., 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree) will be considered.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and root causes.

+ Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

+ Data analysis and reporting functions

+ Experience working with data visualization, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Experience supporting inventory management, supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or retail operations.

+ Knowledge of cost analysis, accounting principles, or supplier performance analytics.

+ Experience with SQL, data modeling, or advanced analytics tools.

+ Exposure to data governance, data management, and reporting frameworks.

+ Experience creating dashboards and automated reporting solutions.

+ Knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain processes.


Pay Details: $39.13 per hour
