(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

The Data and Content Management Specialist manages all data used for external reporting and communications. This position advances the units strategic goals by ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and reporting in alignment with regulatory requirements. The role also manages digital content, public relations, and social media initiatives to strengthen the units visibility, support institutional priorities, and deliver consistent, accessible, and timely information.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Leads projects, including committee work, communications, and approval processes.

  2. Develops project timelines, monitors progress and manages communications to ensure successful implementation.

  3. Plans and executes communication, marketing, and promotional strategies to increase visibility of programs and initiatives.

  4. Designs and oversees graphics, advertisements, and digital campaigns in alignment with university branding.

  5. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to promote programs, services, and events.

  6. Supports the preparation of accreditation reports, audits, and documentation required by internal and external regulatory bodies.

  7. Collects, maintains, and analyzes compliance data and course modality information.

  8. Generates reports to support accreditation, planning, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.

  9. Manages and maintains websites and social media accounts, ensuring timely updates, accessibility, compliance, and brand consistency.

  10. Implements data-driven strategies to optimize web content, user engagement, and digital visibility.

  11. Monitors emerging digital trends and advises leadership on opportunities to strengthen outreach and impact.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Required Experience

Two (2) years of relevant professional experience in marketing, data management, digital accessibility, website management, instructional technology, communications, or other related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education in marketing, communications, information systems, instructional technology, or a related field.

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education. Experience in marketing, communications, or public relations within higher education.

Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary range is $60,920 to $65,000 per year. Offers are based on relevant experience. ABILITIES

Ability to manage databases and generate reports

Ability to collaborate across departments and work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to manage multiple social media accounts for an institutional unit.

Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of website management and digital communication strategies.

Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 accessibility standards.

Experience with SEO strategies, web analytics, and digital content optimization

Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NC-SARA, accreditation reporting, or FERPA.

Proficiency in data collection, management, and reporting (Excel, PowerBI, Smartsheet, or similar).

Proficiency with web content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, Cascade, or equivalent).

SKILLS

Strong project management and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong skills in graphic design, branding, and digital advertising
