Data Annotator

Careerscape is hiring a remote Data Annotator to support the data pipelines behind modern AI and machine learning systems. You will label, tag, and categorize text, image, and audio data with high accuracy, directly shaping how models learn and perform.

Responsibilities

• Label, tag, and categorize text, image, and audio data per project guidelines
• Review and validate datasets for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Apply annotation standards and taxonomies across large data volumes
• Flag ambiguous or edge-case data for team review
• Track progress and meet daily and weekly throughput targets
• Collaborate with QA and project leads to refine labeling guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Strong attention to detail and consistency on repetitive tasks
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with web-based tools
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Clear written English communication
