Description:
CTG is seeking an experienced Data Architect – Data Modernization, Snowflake to lead enterprise-scale data transformation and modernization initiatives for our client. This role will focus on architecting and delivering scalable cloud-based migration solutions leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and modern ETL technologies.
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 9 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.
- Design and implement scalable ETL and data migration solutions.
- Architect data pipelines and modernization strategies involving:
- Oracle to PostgreSQL
- Oracle to SQL Server
- Relational to NoSQL migrations
- Data Warehouse to Data Lake transformations
- Develop enterprise data models and architecture standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams, DBAs, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Create proof-of-concepts and technical solution prototypes.
- Support cloud-native architectures using Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS technologies.
- Optimize SQL queries, ETL workflows, and large-scale data processing solutions.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience leading enterprise data migration projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
