This role will be responsible for outlining the data requirements creating data architecture and creating data documentation.<\/span> <\/p> <\/p>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/span> <\/h3> <\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and implement an overarching data strategy aligned with organizational goals.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data architecture solutions.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Design and implement logical and physical data models to support application development and business intelligence needs.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure data quality, integrity, and security are maintained throughout the data lifecycle.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Design data integration processes to facilitate the seamless flow of data between systems.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and database designs.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide knowledge transfer to client and team members.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Defining how systems should be maintained, including tools to be used for monitoring, thresholds, and runbooks, and actively working on refining on-call practices.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Leading multi-functional teams made up of analysts, developers, data scientists, and other roles that are needed to support business needs.<\/span> <\/p> <\/span> <\/p> <\/div><\/span> Requirements<\/h3>Minimum Qualifications/Experience:<\/span> <\/h3> <\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Proven experience as a Data Architect, Database Administrator, or in a similar role.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>In-depth knowledge of data modeling tools and techniques.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Expertise in relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Familiarity with big data technologies and data warehousing.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in enterprise data architecture and management the Information Technology field<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong understanding of data architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices, with practical experience in data modeling, schema design, and data warehouse architecture.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics) is highly desirable.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Familiarity with data security, privacy, and compliance standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.<\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Shall have experience leading and architecting enterprise-wide initiatives, specifically system integration, data warehouse build, data mart build, data lakes, etc. for a large enterprise.<\/span> <\/p>Minimum Education:<\/span> <\/h3> <\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Bachelors' degree in data science, engineering, statistics or similar<\/span> <\/p> <\/span><\/span> <\/p>Required Certifications:<\/span> <\/h3> <\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Technical software development, platform or solution certifications are a plus.<\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/span><\/span> <\/p>Other:<\/span> <\/h3> <\/b> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Local to Tallahassee FL candidates preferred; Remote candidates will be considered with regular travel to FL.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>US Citizens Preferred but Green Card candidates considered.<\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/div><\/span>
