About Us

Professional Education (PPE) at the Graduate School of Education empowers educators from all over the world to address critical problems of practice through professional development programs led by faculty on campus and online. PPE serves more than ten thousand educators in 120 programs each year who come from early childhood, K-12, and higher education.

The Insights and Impact (I&I) team supports Market Development in PPE by strengthening data infrastructure, literacy, use, and culture across the department. I&I works collaboratively with all PPE teams to gather, standardize, integrate, enrich, maintain, analyze, and share data across systems to facilitate continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.

I&I is seeking applicants for an Operations Data Assistant position to support multiple data projects. This role involves many aspects of data management/enrichment which will strengthen PPE's data quality and use. The role will spend a considerable amount of time in Salesforce ensuring a high level of data cleanliness and integrity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with various business systems, databases, and data visualization tools and have familiarity or interest in learning domestic/international education terms and structures to translate into our specific Salesforce data model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular data enrichment and cleaning tasks to remove duplicates, correct errors, and fill in missing information
• Explore efficiencies in data cleaning and management
• Support documentation efforts related to Salesforce data cleaning and management
• Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions as needed

Basic Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail, ability to consistently demonstrate sound judgment, flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with data quality management principles
• Interest in data management
• Familiarity or interest in learning domestic/international education terms and structure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Salesforce not required, but a plus
