Job Description

Position Summary:

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Data Business Analyst supporting the NC3 Contract, specifically the GASNTi1 & GASNTi2 program offices within the Nuclear Networks Division (NCN). The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

 

This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts.

 

Responsibilities:

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, the Data Business Analyst will provide analytical and data-driven support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The role supports government leadership by applying data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence techniques to inform program, financial, and acquisition decision-making in support of mission objectives.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Use business intelligence data for predictive analytics and implementation of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, PMRT, and Power BI

  • Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques using Microsoft Excel and data visualization platforms including Tableau, Qlik Sense, PMRT, and Power BI

  • Apply analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis

  • Analyze and process data while creating and maintaining models and report templates

  • Develop dynamic, data-driven solutions using data engineering tools such as Databricks or low-code/no-code platforms including Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse

  • Recommend and implement performance measures including efficiency metrics and statistical indicators

  • Provide customers with detailed, actionable reports documenting findings to support program management, financial management, and acquisition activities

Qualifications:

Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and maintain a Secret clearance

Education: BA/BS in a related discipline 

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in data visualization, data management, data governance, data strategy, data policy, or data engineering

  • 2+ years of experience designing, creating, and maintaining analytics and visualization platforms using Tableau and Power BI

  • 2+ years of experience engaging with clients, gathering requirements, and implementing analytics or visualization solutions

  • Experience querying and analyzing data to answer questions and solve problems

  • Experience visualizing data to communicate key insights

  • Knowledge of business analysis or business intelligence tools and methodologies

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving organizational processes

Preferred Qualifications

Education: MA/MS in an analytical field

Experience:

  • 3–10 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Query, Databricks, or SQL for data engineering

  • Experience developing applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse

  • Ability to synthesize analytical results and deliver briefings or presentations to product owners and stakeholders

Location: Hanscom Air Force Base, MA

Travel: Occasional travel based on program needs
