Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Data Center/Cloud & Automation SME for a Contract with a client in Culver City, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for automating infrastructure, managing cloud platforms, and driving operational efficiency through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Rate Range: $60/Hour to $68/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Center/Cloud & Automation SME Job Responsibilities include:

• Manage and support Linux servers, including installation, patching, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent cloud deployments.

• Automate system configuration, deployments, and operational tasks using Ansible and scripting tools.

• Monitor infrastructure and cloud resources, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis to improve reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability, security compliance, and continuous operational improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Linux Administration, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Automation, and Infrastructure Management.

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/Amazon Linux/Ubuntu), AWS services, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, and infrastructure automation.

• Proven expertise in provisioning and managing secure, scalable AWS environments, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automating operational tasks, and supporting L3 infrastructure operations with strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $68.00 per hour
