Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Onsite Systems Engineer to handle the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our next-generation, high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure. In this role, you will be the primary hands-on technical expert managing cutting-edge Dell PowerEdge XE platforms heavily integrated with Nvidia AI and acceleration technologies.

The ideal candidate must possess deep hardware proficiency, exceptional diagnostic skills, and strict adherence to enterprise data center protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Installation & Maintenance: Perform onsite physical installation, provisioning, component replacement (FRUs/CRUs), and hardware upgrades for specialized Dell PowerEdge XE architectures.
Platform Management: Provide dedicated hands-on support for the following specific models: PowerEdge XE9712, XE9712i, and XE9812.
Nvidia Integration: Support, diagnose, and maintain high-density Nvidia GPU clusters, network fabrics (InfiniBand/Ethernet), and interconnected hardware.
Access & Ticket Compliance: Manage and submit Nvidia-related infrastructure requests. You will be responsible for filling out and managing the NVOnline tool for third-party Provider submissions to ensure seamless access to vendor support networks.
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Partner with remote engineering and vendor support teams to run diagnostics, resolve complex hardware failures, and ensure maximum uptime of AI/HPC workloads.
Documentation: Maintain rigorous logs of hardware modifications, serial numbers, component swaps, and support ticket lifecycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Dell PowerEdge Mastery: Proven hands-on experience working with enterprise-level Dell PowerEdge servers, specifically advanced XE models (XE9712, XE9712i, XE9812).
Nvidia Ecosystem Knowledge: Solid understanding of Nvidia acceleration hardware, GPU architectures, and familiarity with Nvidia support frameworks.
Tool Proficiency: Direct experience with or the ability to quickly utilize vendor support portals, specifically handling NVOnline access forms and processes.
Infrastructure Skills: Familiarity with data center environments, power distribution units (PDUs), and advanced cooling systems (liquid/air) typically paired with high-density XE servers.

Soft Skills & Logistics

Location: 100% Onsite (Data Center environnement).
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating between internal teams and external providers.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically under pressure in a high-stakes, live production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Dell Technologies Proven Professional Certification (e.g., PowerEdge Specialist).
Nvidia Certifications (e.g., Nvidia Certified Associate or Professional in InfiniBand/Data Center).
Experience dealing with enterprise vendor warranty submissions.
