Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience working on critical infrastructure projects related to process improvements.
  • Experience with mission critical systems and operations (e.g., power generation, data center, refinery, chip fabrication, chemical plant processing, etc.).
  • Experience with industrial controls in critical environment (data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil and gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing and troubleshooting BMS and Electrical Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems application specific controllers and software such as Ignition and FactoryTalk.
  • Experience with TCP/IP, EtherNet IP, BacNet and MODBUS, IEC 61850 communication protocol.
  • Understanding of engineering documentation, BMS drawings and standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational and problem-solving skills.

You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide immediate support to resolve Building Management System (BMS) issues, ensuring continuous uptime for data center operations.
  • Develop and iterate on control logic programming, Sequences of Operation (SOO), and GUIs while leading commissioning and validation efforts for new installations.
  • Lead the full life cycle of improvement projects, managing scopes, budgets, schedules, and procurement activities from initial request to final delivery.
  • Supervise vendor compliance with design standards and local codes during site visits while training internal stakeholders on system operations and maintenance.
  • Analyze quarterly maintenance results to resolve action items and manage service agreements to improve system performance throughout the facility's life cycle.
