Purpose of the role:
Working across Pico's and its clients' data centers in New Jersey, with additional coverage in Chicago, Mexico and Canada, the role holder will lead a team responsible for the physical build, maintenance and operational integrity of the data centre environment. The successful candidate will bring proven leadership experience and will be accountable for managing the team's book of work, setting priorities, allocating resources, developing team members and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery. Working closely with Network and Systems Engineering, Project Management and Client Service Delivery, the role holder will provide clear direction, promote accountability and collaboration, and ensure projects and operational activities are delivered safely and efficiently. A structured approach, strong problem-solving skills and the flexibility to work within short change windows, late at night and outside normal business hours are essential.

The working days for this role are Tuesday to Saturday: Tuesday to Friday 11 AM to 7 PM and Sat 9 AM to 6 PM. Sunday availability on request. This is a non-office-based position. Travel between data centers in New Jersey (and occasionally beyond) will be required on an on-going basis. Home base is New Jersey, where we operate out of Equinix NY4, the travel is primarily within AMRS. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions / geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certification.
