Role - DevOps and Engineering - Data Center Engineer
Duration - 6 months
Location - Austin TX - Hybrid - ( 2 days in office plus travel between data centers in Austin, TX.)
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience working in a data centre environment
Strong rack and stack experience with IT hardware
Solid knowledge of network cabling (copper/fibre)
Experience with data centre power, rack power, and power distribution
Basic networking knowledge (e.g. connectivity, patching, IP awareness)
Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
Comfortable working with multiple teams in a dynamic environment
Maintain high standards of organisation, safety, and documentation
Excel skills.
"Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar)
Experience working on large-scale data centre builds or migrations
Familiarity with DCIM platforms (e.g. Sunbird, Nlyte, Schneider EcoStruxure)
