Data Center Facilities Support Technician – Temporary Project

Nesco Data Center & Infrastructure is seeking Data Center Facilities Support Technicians for a short-term project supporting a critical data center facility in the Gainesville, VA area.

This project is expected to last approximately 1–2 weeks and will support onsite engineering teams performing preventative maintenance on cooling equipment within the facility.

Project Scope

Technicians will assist with:

• Removing protective metal panels/shrouds from cooling units above CRAC/AC systems
• Supporting engineers performing coil cleaning and maintenance activities
• Reinstalling panels and securing equipment after maintenance is completed
• Following detailed onsite instructions and safety procedures
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas throughout the project

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a data center or industrial environment
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Able to lift, move, and position metal panels safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
• Previous data center, facilities, construction, HVAC helper, or mechanical support experience is helpful but not required
