Overview
Seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the design and delivery of data center projects. This role provides technical leadership, ensures quality execution, and partners with development and project teams to meet performance, budget, and schedule goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support RFP/RFI processes and review technical submittals
- Provide design input for mechanical/electrical systems
- Evaluate and select equipment to meet project requirements
- Lead technical coordination across consultants, vendors, and contractors
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
- Conduct performance reviews and recommend system improvements
- Manage design reviews, approvals, and stakeholder coordination
- Mentor team members and support project documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Architecture
- 10+ years of data center or critical infrastructure experience
- Strong project management and consultant coordination experience
- Knowledge of data center design (BOD), construction, and systems
- Experience with vendors, subcontractors, and contract negotiations
- Preferred: Licensed Mechanical Contractor (CA) or equivalent
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
