As the Area lead, you will lead a large, geographically distributed team of talented electrical, cooling, and controls technicians, plant engineers, facility managers, and program managers who are collectively responsible for the operational health and efficiency of Google's Data Centers, the largest cloud computer in the world. You will need a strong combination of technical depth, management expertise, and leadership to develop, nurture, and guide multiple operations teams across a geographic area. You will have knowledge of leading through change, and demonstrated experience setting and delivering strategies in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment. You will be a leader of leaders, responsible for the team's performance, well-being, and career development, execution against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), use and maturation of existing tools and systems, and collaboratively defining future processes, systems, and Infrastructure.
