Lead Complex Construction Projects

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout.
- Lead project teams including Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Drive project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change order management.
- Negotiate and administer subcontractor agreements and vendor contracts.
- Monitor project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee quality control programs and ensure work meets project specifications and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety programs, construction regulations, and client requirements.
- Conduct client meetings and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and construction partners.
- Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams during project planning and startup.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to increase efficiency and project success.
- Support the development and mentoring of junior project management staff.

Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, or related project leadership role.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contracts, and project controls.
- Knowledge of construction means and methods, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Experience working with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with large-scale projects valued at $20M+ is highly desirable.
- Background in mission critical, healthcare, commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or institutional projects is a plus.
