Responsibilities:The Data Center Structured Cabling Specialist is responsible for the planning, installation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of structured cabling supporting enterprise data centers and infrastructure. This role ensures that copper and fiber optic cabling infrastructure is installed according to industry standards, enabling reliable connectivity for servers, storage, network equipment, telecommunications systems, and critical business applications. This position possesses extensive experience with structured cabling, data center best practices, cable management, and industry standards such as ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and ISO/IEC.
This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and discretion in carrying out assigned responsibilities, particularly those involving critical business operations. The incumbent is expected to analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and make well-informed decisions within established policies and procedures. Success in this role requires strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to prioritize competing priorities effectively, and a consistent track record of meeting project milestones and deadlines.

Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $68,640.00 to $93,600.00 on an annualized basis. The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
