Job Description
Data Center Superintendent Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of data center construction from ground-up through commissioning.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Manage daily site operations, enforce safety protocols, and maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Interpret and apply architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct inspections, track RFIs, and review shop drawings and testing reports.
- Maintain detailed daily reports including progress photos, weather conditions, and manpower logs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and local officials to resolve issues and drive solutions.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets while maintaining high standards of quality.

The Successful Applicant
Data Center Superintendent Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial ground-up construction; data center or mission-critical experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and commissioning processes.
- Ability to manage complex schedules and coordinate multiple trades.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable using construction management software and Microsoft Office tools.
