Summary:
As a Data Center Technician at Client, you serve as one of many primary resolvers for your support team, skilled at troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues. You support and share knowledge of these technologies with team members. You possess basic to intermediate system administration skills and work autonomously to resolve server issues. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to take direction when given, paying attention to all details involved. You work well with a team. You are receptive to feedback and able to adjust performance and behavior as required for the position.
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic networking knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP (1+ years)
  • Familiarity with hardware components inside a server/computer (1+ years)
  • Ability to perform hardware replacements and repairs
  • Basic Linux/Unix command line knowledge
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Receptive to feedback and able to adjust performance and behavior as required
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • (Optional) CompTIA, CompTIA+
 
Technical Skills:
  • Ability to perform hardware replacements and repairs
  • Understanding of cooling systems and power distribution
  • Basic Linux/Unix command line knowledge
  • Experience with ticketing systems and documentation
  • Ability to perform basic network troubleshooting
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.00 - $27.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
