Job Summary
We are seeking Data Center Technicians with foundational experience in structured cabling and data center environments to support national telecom and low-voltage infrastructure projects. This contract-to-hire role involves structured cabling installation, infrastructure hardware deployment, and data center equipment support. Technicians will work alongside experienced team members while gaining increased responsibility and hands-on field experience.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform structured cabling installations, including fiber and copper cable rough-in, routing, dressing, patching, and testing
• Terminate and test fiber and copper cabling under moderate supervision
• Rack and stack network equipment, including server installations and rack elevation builds
• Install infrastructure hardware, including ladder racks, fiber trays, cabinets, and related components
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, installation standards, and project documentation
• Assist with outside plant (OSP) fiber installations within data center environments
• Receive materials and assemble hardware components as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized jobsite
• Communicate professionally with team members, project leads, and supervisors

Job Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of experience in data centers, telecom, low-voltage, or commercial structured cabling environments
• Familiarity with cable types, rough-in methods, dressing, patching, termination practices, and basic testing tools
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Willingness to travel nationally as required
• Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
• Availability to work overtime as needed, including schedules of 50–60+ hours per week
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., move items up to 75 lbs., and stand or walk for extended periods
• Must provide and maintain basic hand tools, including a multi-bit screwdriver, snips, punch tool, pliers, tape measure, flashlight, tool pouch, and steel or composite toe work boots
