Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Ashburn, VA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation:
Pay Range: $61.00-$66.00 Per HR

Job Summary:
• This position requires onsite technical support in a data center environment located in the Ashburn, VA area.
• It involves full-time responsibilities from Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. 
• The technician will coordinate and monitor technical environments, implement and integrate activities, and provide operational support. 
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, along with experience in handling network infrastructure and ensuring security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain network and server equipment, including cabling and parts replacement.
• Provide data center staging, deployment, and logistics support.
• Troubleshoot and escalate incidents, ensuring continuous availability of data center operations.
• Maintain inventory control and documentation on systems and components.
• Collaborate with support teams and vendors to resolve outages or performance issues.

Qualifications:
• Intermediate experience in data center or IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN topologies, protocols, and standards.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling pressure and changing priorities.
• Familiarity with network cabling, server hardware, and electrical standards.
